Meet the owner
Nelson Alvarado
Owner of Nelson Roof Contracting — over 50 years on the roof.
Nelson Alvarado leads every job personally. Customers say he is on the job site every day, and every roof is built by Nelson Roof Contracting's own in-house crews — no subcontractors.
“I’ve installed over 30 million square feet of roof systems — every style, every type. Roofing is what I know. I’ve taught generations of people to do the same, and what I still love doing is helping people with their roofs and building solid systems.
For more than 50 years, I’ve built my reputation by doing right by my customers. I personally supervise every job because the details matter, and so does the trust you place in me. My faith guides how I live, how I treat people, and how I do business.”

About the Owner
Family is the foundation of everything we build at Nelson Roof Contracting.
Our owner’s love and his calling have always been to serve the Lord, preach the gospel, and tell people of the love and the salvation that Christ gives. He puts roofs on as a living.
He has been married for 60 years to the same woman, who loves him today. Together they raised five children. Four sons are in the roofing business, and all four are very successful. Their daughter runs her own business. Today the family has grown to 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The same faith and values that built a family that has lasted more than five decades go into every roof Nelson Roof Contracting installs. We show up, work hard, do it right, and stand behind our name.
